About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Jr. Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and finance activities. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, performing reconciliations and supporting statutory and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions
  • Record purchase, sales, expense, receipt and payment entries
  • Prepare and verify purchase and sales invoices
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
  • Perform bank, vendor and customer account reconciliations
  • Assist with GST-related data, TDS workings and statutory requirements
  • Maintain invoices, vouchers, bills and supporting documentation
  • Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports
  • Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments and outstanding balances
  • Assist senior accounts personnel during audits and statutory assessments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (B.Com preferred)
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of Tally, ERP or accounting software
  • Basic understanding of GST, TDS and statutory accounting requirements
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with inventory and purchase accounting is preferred
  • Experience handling vendor/customer ledgers and bank reconciliation is preferred
  • Manufacturing, pharmaceutical or chemical industry experience is preferred

Chemist – Peptide Synthesis

Peptide Synthesis SPPS Process Development HPLC / LC-MS

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Chemist – Peptide Synthesis to support laboratory-scale peptide synthesis, process development, optimization, purification and analytical evaluation. The role involves working closely with the R&D team to develop and scale up peptide synthesis processes and prepare high-quality peptide intermediates and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and related peptide synthesis operations
  • Execute peptide coupling, deprotection, cleavage and related synthetic reactions
  • Follow established laboratory procedures and develop or optimize synthetic processes
  • Monitor reactions and assess completion using appropriate analytical techniques
  • Perform peptide purification using preparative HPLC and related chromatographic methods
  • Support peptide isolation, concentration, drying and sample preparation
  • Characterize products using HPLC, LC-MS and other relevant analytical techniques
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, experimental data and batch documentation
  • Troubleshoot synthesis and purification-related problems
  • Conduct literature and patent searches to support peptide process development
  • Assist in process optimization for yield, purity, reaction time, reagent consumption and reproducibility
  • Support scale-up activities from laboratory to pilot or manufacturing scale
  • Follow GLP/GMP, EHS and laboratory safety requirements
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, chemicals and consumables
  • Prepare technical reports, experimental summaries and process documentation
  • Work collaboratively with analytical, production, quality and R&D teams

Requirements

  • M.Sc. / M.Pharm. / M.Tech. or equivalent qualification in Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a related discipline
  • 1–5 years of hands-on experience in peptide synthesis or relevant organic synthesis
  • Practical knowledge of SPPS and peptide chemistry
  • Knowledge of amino acid derivatives, protecting groups, coupling reagents and deprotection strategies
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC and basic understanding of LC-MS
  • Good understanding of organic reaction mechanisms and purification techniques
  • Ability to interpret analytical data and troubleshoot synthetic processes
  • Good laboratory practices and strong documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience with Fmoc-based peptide synthesis is preferred
  • Experience with automated or manual peptide synthesizers is preferred
  • Knowledge of peptide purification and preparative HPLC method development is preferred
  • Experience in peptide process development and scale-up is preferred
  • Knowledge of peptide impurity profiling and characterization is preferred
  • Exposure to GMP documentation and pharmaceutical/API manufacturing environments is preferred
  • Good scientific literature and patent-search skills
